Students here at Mountain Range High School are getting ready for one of the most exciting events of the year, prom! This year’s prom will take place on April 11, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Church Ranch Event Center and Wedding Venue. The annual dance is a tradition many students look forward to all year, giving juniors and seniors the chance to dress up, spend time with friends, and celebrate the end of the school year together.
Tickets for prom will be sold during all lunch periods from April 6 through April 10. Students who purchase tickets ahead of time will pay $55 for presale, while tickets bought at the door will cost $60. As the week of ticket sales approaches, many students are already starting to plan their outfits, transportation, and group pictures. For some, the preparation for prom can be just as exciting as the event itself.
There are a few important rules students should keep in mind for the night. No one will be allowed to enter the dance after 9:30 p.m., so students will need to arrive before that time. In addition, guests over the age of 20 will not be allowed to attend, and middle school students are not permitted at the event. These rules help ensure the event stays focused on high school students and remains safe and organized throughout the night.
Prom is one of the biggest social events of the year at Mountain Range. Many students spend weeks getting ready by finding the right dress or suit, coordinating colors with friends or dates, and planning where they will take photos before the dance. Groups of friends often meet up before prom for dinner or pictures at parks, restaurants, or scenic spots around Westminster.
For seniors especially, prom can feel like one of the last big celebrations before graduation. As the school year starts to wind down, events like prom give students a chance to take a break from schoolwork and enjoy time together before everyone heads off in different directions after high school. It’s a night where students can celebrate friendships, make memories, and experience a big tradition that many look forward to throughout their high school years.
With the dance just around the corner, excitement is starting to build across campus. Whether students attend with a date, a group of friends, or on their own, prom is expected to be a fun and memorable night for everyone involved. As April 11 gets closer, Mountain Range students are counting down the days until they can finally step onto the dance floor and celebrate together.
