Najma S. is a junior student attending Mountain Range High school. Najma loves writing

about issues, and real life stories that she knows are important! She chose Journalism because she wants to write about the right and wrongs that are being put in the news. Najma wants to represent people's opinions who don't have a voice. Throughout her freshman and sophomore year she has had a lot of good character development which made her want to write about real life stories. If you got to know Najma in any way you would know she is very honest and likes to write about human rights. She cares a lot about her education. Outside of school and home Najma likes playing volleyball a lot as a fun hobby. Besides all of that, Najma would love to be a pediatric sonographer in the future. Najma is passionate about helping people, and she's really good with kids.

Kyra C. is a Junior at MRHS who lives to create. Kyra’s love for writing shows in both the classroom, and out of it, she often spends her nights with a pen and notebook in hand. She found her way to writing and Journalism through another wonderful teacher at Mountain Range Ms. Rebuehr. As a child she had always dreamed of being a teacher, and since then has decided to teach English. Kyra’s biggest writing and creative inspiration is her Father, who also wanted to be a teacher, but never got the chance. Kyra’s strength in writing lies in poetry, short stories, and compelling narratives. She can always be found in the library with her best friends, in a movie theatre, or up in the mountains. She is always chasing tomorrow.

Gavin.H is a 11th grade student at Mountain Range High School, He was born in Colorado in 2009 and has only left the state once. He’s been interested in law and video games since seeing creators like danTDM and law by mike. For the past year he believes that a lot of this generation has fallen to the worst because of AI, but he does not hate it because it exists he hates it because of how it is used for making slop content or getting simple tasks done without putting in any work.He also has an interest in old cartoons such as Looney Tunes, Adventure Time, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Chip and Dale, he enjoys the effort that people put into the animations instead of using AI. Some achievements he has accomplished over the years was playing baseball for 3 years and soccer for 1 year. He has been working on his coding skills to make some games, as well as making a lot of effort to make his grade all A’s.

And he has been able to see the new spiderman movie 2 times in the same week, and is trying to see if he can see the new resident evil movie as well. And that is all he was able to give to us that is all for now.

Jacob H. Is a MRHS 11th grader. You can expect that his writing will be creative as past English

teachers have said he is a fairly creative writer but lacks some things. A small accomplishment

he had was getting a 4 on a creative writing project in english. He is unique because he is very caring and tries to make sure his friends and family are okay. As a reader you here’s what you can expect from him, he writes about sports and school events with what's going on in the school or issues that are in the school and how they can be solved. He can also be found in the library during 5th and 8th but if you need to contact him you can contact him on instagram @303_jac0b.

Aspiring and passionate 11th grade poet, Rylie L, goes above and beyond in her work with loud opinions and the desire to speak truth. As a long time runner in honors English, she puts her all in hopes to express and astonish her readers. With eye-catching fashion and an ever growing vocabulary, her writing is unique in the sense that she uses such intense emotional pictionary; especially in her poetry which she takes pride in. When not writing, she enjoys thrifting, concerts and going to the beach. She often seeks thrill and adventure which bring more enthusiasm and illustration in her poetry. Overall, she hopes her penning can bring movement and inspiration, as well as speaking for those who can’t have a voice.

Isidro O. is a rather calm low-key student who likes to keep things to themselves at times here at Mountain range high school Isidro or rather gabe or gabriel for their preferred name is an outgoing student who will try because they have to can be lazy at times but when it’s seriously time to go to work it’s go time as in 11th nearing the end of the school year gabe was close to failing their government class a single presentation stood in the way in deciding either if gabe here passed 11th or failed 11th grade remembering promise they made to their mother that they’d do good in school for and through sheer determination they crushed the presentation! Gabe faces many hardships, some impacted Gabe's motivation to work and do assignments on time yet they push through and persevere on in remembrance of the promise they made will write stories about nature certain events that may catch the eye of anyone! And outside in the classroom you might see a speeding blue E bike go past you.

Julian T. A MRHS student and a passionate

person willing to try new things decided for

their Junior year that they wanted to challenge

themselves by taking journalism. Throughout

the years Julian slowly found the aspect of

writing to be enjoyable. He always had a

passion for stuff like coding and game design.

For when he was younger he always wanted

to be a professional game designer, creating

amazing experiences for others to play. Many

activities that he does include stuff like

biking, diskgolf, game design, playing various

games, and taking part of Student

Government taking action on many things in

and out of MRHS. Often you may find Julian
