She looks forward to keeping up with stories on the Range involving student activities, clubs, media fads, and event traditions. A recent endeavor Lea accounts is of her time with an up and coming Theatre company named Stage Left Productions. She worked the spotlight on the company's first performance of the Starkid’s original musical, Nerdy Prudes Must Die, for the enjoyment of a sold out audience. She assisted in lighting design as well as sound production with skills she has curated through her time in high school theater. She plans to put out engaging stories on the many “happenings” of the Range and holds out hope to hear back on student opinion. She is an active fan of indie, alternative, and somewhat strange media. Lea is currently watching Fiona and Cake, an animated story of hope in a world of distant powerful lands, as well as Severance, the accounts of four colleges who dig through turmoil, distrust, and bloodshed to reconnect their life on the “severed” floor with the rest of their consciousness. Ali can tell you exactly when a trend peaked, and she probably has the vogue archive to prove It. Aliah P, better known as Ali, is a high school senior at Mountain Range High School with genuine interest in fashion, politics, and the culture that connects them. She’s drawn to fashion for its ability  to reflect personality, trends and social change, whether that means analyzing runway collections or noticing how quickly a certain trend takes over everyone's closest. Her interest in politics comes from a similar curiosity. Ali likes understanding the stories behind current events, the people influencing them, and the conversations happening around them. She’s especially interested in how politics and pop culture intersects and how those conversations shape the way people see the world. Through journalism, Ali hopes to turn those interests into stories that are current, engaging, and actually worth reading, She wants to develop her own voice while covering topics that feel relevant to her generation.

When she's not writing, Ali can usually be found looking for something new to add to her

wardrobe, scrolling through fashion content or getting invested in political conversations she

definitely did not plan on having. She’s curious, opinionated, and always looking for the next

story. You can engage with her further on instagram @xo.4ali
